The primary focus for students in this course is to develop logical reasoning by solving word problems on simple algebraic equations. They learn and practice both theoretical and experimental probabilities. They learn to read the Compass and to understand the cardinal points of geographical locations. Through practical applicable exercises, they learn how to interpret locations through Bearing and Distances. They are also taught the use of computer application in Mathematics. They get to study the different angles of elevation and depression and angles and types of Polygons; they acquire knowledge in the construction of special angles and data presentation as well as learning the functional relationships between quantitative reasoning and linear inequalities, while learning how to plot linear graph in two variable from real life situations.
